Uniting all interior designers, iN Publishers’ My Favourite Interior Designer (MFID) returned for its annual awards in the residential edition. Held in conjunction with the iN Paradigm Home Living Fair at Paradigm Mall, MFID 2016 : Residential Edition saw a host of local and international judges join in the ceremony, together with the Top 50 interior designers.
As a very sought-after award, MFID opens new doors and opportunities for local designers, architects and aspiring designers, acknowledging them in the ever-growing home and living industry. As an exciting interior design competition, the main objective is to instil a competitive environment to mark the current standard of design in Malaysia and branch out new ways to enhance the quality of the interior design and architecture industry simultaneously. With MFID, iN Publishers aims to create a new legacy of interior designers that are talented, recognised, well-rounded and ready to rumble to the next level.
Judged and evaluated by 100 local and international key-players of the industry, this year we received over 300 entries and managed to whittle them down to a Top 50. From there, our esteemed judges came, browsed and studied the Top 50 entries at our MFID corridor and after a long and challenging process, the Top 20 emerged.

WHO WILL BE THE TOP 10?
Later this month, we will be inviting our Top 20 back for an exclusive seminar with renowned international architect, Chris Bosse, where we will also be announcing the Top 10 winners of MFID 2016 : Residential Edition. The winning Top 10 interior designers will then go on to receive exclusive coverage in media prints, radio interviews, TV productions, as well as a chance to collaborate with top powerhouses in the home and living industry.
