Beko: “Official Partner Of The Everyday” Campaign

The campaign is driven to establish Beko as a consumer centric brand that supports real people’s needs every single day, through a wide range of clever products and shows how people can rely on Beko as their everyday partner. Beko has gained global demand momentum with the brand campaign and has been making brand impressions with its four-year deal as the ‘Official Premium Partner’ of the football club, FC Barcelona, at the start of the 2014/15 football season that runs through until the end of 2017/18 season.

Arising from this deal, Beko had launched “The Official Partner of Play” campaign, as an extension of Beko’s long-term positioning as the ‘Official Partner of the Everyday’.

Beko’s campaign includes Corporate Social Responsibility activities such as the support for FutbolNet as “The Official Partner of Play”. FutbolNet is a scheme for 10 to 16-year-olds run by the FC Barcelona Foundation, which works with schools and youth groups in Catalan areas to use football as a tool to promote values such as self-confidence, respect and a sense of responsibility.

Beko organised a “Chance to Play” surprise training session with Lionel Messi, Gerard Piqué and Arda Turan for 10 children from a school in Barcelona. The children were taken by bus to a surprise location, the FC Barcelona training ground, for a special coaching session.

For the children at the school, football and FC Barcelona means everything to them, so Beko teamed up with the club to give the kids the dream day of play at FC Barcelona’s training ground and the surprise of their lives from Lionel Messi, Gerard Piqué and Arda Turan. We also left a legacy for the school by creating a new-look workspace complete with new Beko appliances.”
