We’ve all been in that situation where you start the washing cycle only to realise you’ve forgotten something. It can be a hassle, especially with our lives in a constant frenzy, which is why Samsung’s new ingenious AddWash Front Load Washer is the perfect appliance for today’s millennials. Thanks to its flexible and efficient door within a door design, even forgotten laundry can be cleaned in the same cycle by simply and quickly adding the overlooked items via the AddWash Door.

What Can The Addwash Door Do? 

• Add in any forgotten items.
• Pre-soaked or pre-washed delicate items? Add it in at the rinsing or spining cycles.
• Add softener or detergent anytime you want.
• Keep the drum fresh by ventilating the washing tube.

Samsung Tips On Washing Delicate Clothing
Whether it’s a silk shirt, a cashmere jumper or an embellished top, delicate clothes and fabrics need special treatment and care. We cannot wash them with regular laundry or mix them with other types of fabrics otherwise they will ruin, so here are some tips to follow when washing your delicate fabrics, without risking damage.

Be Vigilant! Read, read and read the care labels/tags! The label will tell you whether the material is washing machine friendly, handwash only, or dry clean – so follow the labels’ advice.

Detergent is important! Some detergents can leave residues, so choose a good and reliable detergent. There are detergents for delicate fabrics too.

Be Gentle! With delicate clothing and fabrics, submerge the item in some lukewarm water and add some detergent and fabric softener. For rinsing or spinning put the item in a washing bag and add it to your load via the AddWash Door just before the rinse/spin cycle. Additionally, the Eco Bubble™ technology, in the AddWash washes clothes effectively whilst still being gentle on the fabric.

Keep Colours Separate Don’t mix the colours of your laundry. Keep whites and lighter colours together, and darker shades together.
