Set within the extraordinary building that is IDCC, ID Café combines style with food in this chic set-up. Inside, walls are covered with monochromatic interior photographs, which are dimly lit by the amber lights that hang delicately from the ceiling. A warm, industrial ambiance is created by the mixture of raw materials – wood, concrete and metal, and the soft glow of the exposed bulbs that nestle within the metal framed lights.
Table and chairs are neatly scattered around the spacious interior of the café, where intimate booths fill the space towards the back end of the café. Food photographs are displayed temptingly around the walls, and on one wall, an arty chalkboard-like wall is filled with graphics and images to entice diners further. With its tantalising displays, the cool and trendy vibe allows diners to kick-back and relax in this chic and cosy setting.
A mixture of local cuisine and international delights are available at ID Café. Diners can dig into an array of mouth-watering, local dishes such as the ID Special – a tasty fried rice dish served with the crispiest fried chicken and sumptuous king prawns; a traditional Nasi Lemak Sotong Sambal; freshly simmered, heart-warming Porridge; a flavourful Curry Laksa; and even freshly steamed Dim Sum. For diners wanting a more western flair, the appetising Salmon Fish with Arabiata Sauce; a Mysterious Chef Special Salad; and the simple but oh-so yummy pastas can satisfy any diner just perfectly.
Including a selection of delectable desserts for those with a sweet tooth and a large selection of drinks, there is something for everyone – from little ones, to the young at heart. For a stylish meal that will make you wanting more, ID Café is the perfect place for all those craving needs.
