INSIDE World Festival of Interiors, the leading global interior design and architecture awards programme, has recently announced that a shortlist of 63 projects will compete to be crowned World Interior of the Year 2016. Judged by more than 20 distinguished designers and editors from around the world, the INSIDE 2016 awards finalists has been shortlisted across nine categories: Bars & Restaurants; Civic, Culture & Transport, Creative Re-use, Display; Health & Education; Hotels; Offices; Residential and Retail.
Slated for 16-18 November 2016 in Berlin alongside World Architecture Festival, this year’s INSIDE will be putting the spotlight on the people, projects and developments that are changing the face of global interiors. Themed ‘Fluid Interiors’, INSIDE 2016 will showcase how crossover design is transforming the way we live, work and play. In-depth talks will also explore this topic and debate the implications for interior architecture and design regarding the increasing fluidity of uses, as the boundaries between workplace, home and leisure spaces become blurred.
